Arthur House is a nationally recognized construction industry advisor, mediator and standing construction industry mediator/neutral. Mr. House is Certified District Court mediator, a Construction Contract and Business Law Adjunct faculty member, founder and President of the Construction Management Institute of Maine and Miami, established in September of 2001. Mr. House has over 45 years of executive level experience in Construction and Engineering Management fields, with projects and clients throughout the Continental US, Hawaii, the Caribbean Islands, The Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, Aruba, Costa Rica, Haiti, Venezuela and several major European Union companies, plus Japan, South Korea, and China. Mr. House is also an experienced eminent domain, right-of-way agent acting as a mediator to settle significant land and easement acquisitions.
Mediations
Arthur has mediated numerous business and construction disputes to successful conclusions throughout his many years of experience. His success rate is over 90 percent, and almost all cases were eventually settled due to the significant progress made during the mediations he conducted and those matters that eventually were settled by a magistrate (typically is small claim matters in District Court settings.
A typical mediation is completed in 1 day, unless Mr. House travels out of state for the session and the time might extend to 2 days. His mediations generally include between 2 and 4 parties, however some project disputes may have more parties,and we cantake on projects that may exceed that.
Mediation - Full Fee - Paid in one Payment Mediation- Advisory Fee & Payment
- $650.00/up to an 8-hour day - local session in our offices or at a place of convenience, withing 100 miles of our offices in Belfast, Maine, which will be arranged and scheduled for this session. (Fee are typically split equally per number of parties involved).
- Included in mediation assignment: (pre & post study time, conference calls, and other communications).
- No charge for travel time within 100 miles from Belfast, Maine. Out of state is billed at the same daily rates, with the added fee of a fixed per diem charge of $225.00 per day (includes vehicle mileage and tolls, lodging, meals).

Mediation - Full Fee - Paid 50%-50% -by Independent Parties
- Fee for Full Session - Payments Made Independantly by the Parties: Each Party or Parties pays half of the full amount equal to $325.00/for up to an 8-hour day - local session in our offices or at a place of convenience, withing 100 miles of our offices in Belfast, Maine, which will be arranged and scheduled for this session.

- This fee is the full fee for a mediation session.
- Fee for full day mediation session = $275.00/up to an 8-hour day - local session in our offices or at a place of convenience, withing 100 miles of our offices in Belfast, Maine, which will be arranged and scheduled for this session. (Fee are typically split equally per number of parties involved).

- $95/per month based on an annual basis - this is billed monthly. (This rate covers unlimited calls, email exchanges, and necessary discussions related to any type of business-related advisory, strategic planning, project oversight, or exclusive support in mediation).
